Q: Do Special Finishes change appearance of Móz metals?
A: Yes. Now you have the flexibility to choose the look and the feel for your finish. Specify glossy DuraFilm, textured TuffCoat or semi gloss PolyCoat - each enhances color. Its subtle and transparent beauty adds texture and depth to Móz Metals.

Q: What applications are TuffCoat and DuraFilm used for?
A: Wall panels, column covers, or any surface that needs additional scratch resistance and durability.

Q: Where do I specify Moz Special Finishes?
A: High-traffic areas where scuffing, UV or graffiti is a concern: Hotels, Bars restaurants, entertainment centers and retail environments.

Q: Can I form any Moz Metals after I have received them in the field?
A: Forming Móz metals is limited. Yes, you can form it IF THE BEND RADIUS IS GREATER THAN 2'. If bending to a smaller radius surface cracking or de-lamination may occur. Moz offers Value Engineering Assistance and can design, create and ship virtually any product directly to your site.

Q: Can I cut or drill Moz Metals in the field?
A: Yes, when cutting or routing, all blades must be sharp and the use of carbide-tipped cutters and multi-fluted router bits are recommended. When sawing Moz metals it is important to minimize burring and edge distortion. Make sure that the saw blade teeth cut into the decorative face, with the blade height at least 1/4" above the material.

Q: Do I need edge treatments on all of my Moz Metal finishes?
A: No, but we do recommend it for TuffCoat and Durafilm finishes.
